Join a Small Group
At the center of our story here at The Table is the belief that belonging begets becoming. To be known is to be loved and to be loved is to be known, as the poet Amena Brown once wrote. One of the ways that we pursue the reality of a community where people are known is through small groups--spaces where strangers turn into friends and friends into family.
While there is a diversity of expressions in our small groups at The Table, collectively we orbit around the idea that our spirituality is always personal but never private. The most significant pieces of our lives--our faith, parenting, careers, and everything in-between, all of it is best treated as a group project. We get by with a little help from our friends, as the Brits reminded us 50 years ago.
