PLAN YOUR VISIT

We get it. Being the new kid is never fun and often scary. Because of this, it’s important to us that you know exactly what you can expect in your visit to The Table.

Where is The Table and when do you meet? The table meets on sunday nights at 5pm at 4747 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis.

What should i wear? Suit? Derby Hat? You do you. The table is a laid back, casual environment, and most people tend to keep that vibe intact with their wardrobe. Whatever is most comfortable for you, go with it.

Is there parking at the church? Yes, though not much. While there is a parking lot attached to the church, it tends to fill up quickly, leaving most people to park in the neighborhood. For your first visit, let us know you’re coming ahead of time and we will reserve a spot for you—vip treatment.

Do you have childcare? We do! When you arrive, follow the signs for childcare (babies-5th grade), where we will have people ready to check your kids in and ensure that they are taken care of. We are so happy you're bringing your family with you.

What can I expect from a service at The Table? Our worship services tend to last 60-65 minutes. From 5pm-6pm, we will sing together, pray together, take in a message together, high-five together and participate in the Eucharist together.

Are all people welcomed at your church? Like for real though? In an effort to replicate the radical inclusivity of Jesus, at The Table we enthusiastically welcome all persons to fully participate in the life of our community without limitation or restriction based on gender, race, ethnicity, age, physical or mental capacity, education, sexual orientation, gender identity and socioeconomic or marital status. To be explicitly clear, as we are aware of the angst that can come with any ambiguity: beyond “welcoming” or “allowing”, we as a church collectively affirm and celebrate our LGBTQ brothers, sisters, and cousins, recognizing that we need one another in order for us to become the beloved community that Christ has called us to be.

Lastly, if you’re nervous about showing up alone, please let us know below and we will have some of our best meet you out in the parking lot where we’ll have a spot saved for you. In whatever way that we can, we want to help make our house feel like your home.
