Dear Table Family,
We’ve always been committed to practicing the ways of Jesus by creating space for all to belong and be loved, and through God’s faithfulness, we have continued to do that. This has been a season in which God keeps showing up. This year, we’ve moved to a new building we can truly call home, switched to a morning service, welcomed Justin Bell as our new Co-Lead Pastor, and hired several new Table Kids staff including Marta Smith as our Pastor of Youth Ministry. And the community just keeps growing: we’re welcoming new members and new babies, our kids’ ministry is bursting at the seams, and we’re eating more donuts on Sunday than ever before!
At the same time, we continue our commitment to partnering with our neighbors. We supported The Park Place’s backpack drive in August, a toy drive this Christmas, plus a new opportunity to volunteer with the afterschool literacy program. Later this year, we will launch a partnership with ISAIAH, an interfaith organization advocating for healthcare, affordable childcare and housing, and gun reform. These partnerships affirm our value of Jesus-centered social justice.
We’re excited about what’s ahead for The Table community. While this is great news, our growth has outpaced our giving. Now the opportunity is to meet the moment with our generosity. Each month, we experience a $4500 budget shortfall. We need to close the gap, but it’s going to take the whole community to do this together.
Our ask of you within the next thirty days:
If you’re currently giving, thank you! Would you prayerfully consider an increase in your regular giving?
If you have yet to contribute financially, would you consider making a regular monthly gift? Whether it’s $200/month or $2,000/month, every gift matters.
If you’re in a position to do so, would you consider making an additional one-time gift as the year comes to a close?
We understand that some of you are in a season in which you cannot give financially. You are a valued part of our community and we welcome your generosity in other ways.
We continue to trust in God’s faithfulness and the radical generosity of this community. Let’s meet this moment together!
With gratitude and hope,
Debbie Manning and Justin Bell
Co-Lead Pastors of The Table
